Documenting the trials and musings of a young man wholly invested in the decorum of the world, the dress of its people, and why any of it matters in the first place. As fashions come and go, we hope the driving pulse stays the same. Realities change and confuse, while the soul holds the truth.

This Just In | Shirt as Collar
Here is beautiful image from Fantastic Man Magazine passed along from a friend that I wanted to share with you. Though my interest in the geometry of men's clothing is in no way waning, this has nonetheless given my excitement a boost.
When I worked at the Phoenix Art Museum I periodically visited our Fashion Library as part of my job. I recall going through Apparel Arts books from the 1930's and seeing these beautifully drawn mens shirts diagrams. It was all about streamlining. If or When I make it back to the PAM I will ask Dennita if I can photo copy a few of those images for you. Your nuggets would be golden! Or check out your local liiiiiiibrary to see if they have them? xoxo
I love that there's a publication called "Fantastic Man Magazine."
